About this event
The Government has opened a consultation on a proposed national digital ID system for British and Irish citizens and foreign nationals with permission to be in the UK. The consultation is open until Tuesday 5th May, 2026.
We think it’s really important that the concerns of people who face digital barriers are considered in the design of the digital ID system.
Join us for a focus group session, bringing members of the National Digital Inclusion Network together to explore what you think about the proposed digital ID system, and what you think the Government needs to consider, to ensure the system is inclusive and accessible for those who want to use a digital ID.
The insights gathered in the focus groups will be combined with the insights from the survey we’re sharing across the Network, to inform our response on behalf of the Network.
