Help your learners to connect with loved ones they can’t see in person over the holidays by introducing them to the world of video calls. Once they’ve learned the basics on their device, you could even introduce your own winter Zoom sessions to help people who are socially isolated in December when other activities and services are paused.
Watching festive TV
And we all love a bit of festive TV! We’ve just updated our Learn My Way content on watching TV, so you can help your learners to stream all the nostalgic content they could wish for.
Although many people might be looking forward to the winter festivities, this time of year can be really hard for many digitally excluded people. Your sessions might be the only social connection they have and a much needed warm space. Thank you for being there for your community, and we hope these resources give you some ideas to brighten up these December days!
