What is Learn My Way?

Learn My Way is Good Things Foundation’s free online learning platform that helps people build basic digital skills and improve their confidence to use the internet.

Members of the National Digital Inclusion Network can use over 100 beginner-friendly bitesized topics to teach people basic digital skills on Learn My Way. As part of your membership, you can also access lesson plans and other supporting resources to make the most of Learn My Way - for free!

Designed for people with no or low digital skills

Available in English and Welsh, topics on Learn My Way cover our everyday essential digital skills. They range from using a touchscreen and keyboard to learning how to bank and shop online - safely!

The platform was designed with flexibility in mind. It allows people to learn their own way; whether it’s on a computer, laptop, tablet or mobile and they’re accessing it daily, weekly, or during a 15-minute tea break.

Learners can pick and choose which topic they’d like to start based on their digital needs and learning goals - taking them on a journey from digitally excluded to making the most of our online world.

“Learn My Way is simple to use. It feels as though you're learning at your own pace and in your own way. I can pause the activity I want to learn about and come back to it.”

- Liz, Learn My Way user

“Learn My Way encourages people to be more independent. It helps build people's confidence, not just in using their device but also feeling good about themselves [...] because so much is moving online, building those skills and confidence helps people feel valued.”

- Georgina, Learn My Way tutor
