Celebrating Digital Inclusion Hubs: Hub of the Month

01/10/2024

We're celebrating the hard work of the National Digital Inclusion Network by nominating a Hub of the Month every month.

September's Hub of the Month is…

Asylum and Refugee Care (AARC)!

Based in the North East of Scotland, AARC provide holistic support to refugees and asylum seekers, support survivors of human trafficking and exploitation, partnering with other organisations to offer specialist person-centred trauma support.

They support people in using online services to find and contact family members, sign up to educational courses, learn English, and more. They are incredibly welcoming to ‘New Scots,’ creating opportunities for them to participate in and contribute to the community in the same way as Scottish locals.

A massive congratulations to Asylum and Refugee Care, and thank you for all your hard work to fix the digital divide.

Previous Hubs of the Month:

A huge well done to all the hubs who work hard everyday to help their local communities to get connected and build their confidence.
