Celebrating Digital Inclusion Hubs: Hub of the Month

June's Hub of the Month: Walsall Community Transport (WCT) 

We're happy to celebrate Walsall Community Transport and their incredible Let’s Chat Community Hubs as our latest Hub of the Month!

By transforming everyday transport spaces in Walsall Bus Station and West Bromwich into vibrant, inclusive community assets, WCT is proving that digital inclusion and vital support can meet people exactly where they are.

Over the past year alone, the Let’s Chat Hubs have supported more than 24,000 people. Many of these visitors face complex barriers—over 42% identify with a visible or hidden disability, and many others experience deep social isolation, mental health challenges, or financial hardship. Through a daily drop-in, stigma-free model, WCT has built a one-stop-shop for health checks, cost-of-living advice, and essential digital skills.

As proud members of the National Digital Inclusion Network, the team has used our resources, training, and peer learning to deliver accessible, trauma-informed digital support. From helping anxious beginners navigate smartphone basics and NHS apps to empowering job seekers with Universal Credit and CV creation, WCT embeds digital confidence into everything they do. They aren't just helping people get mobile—they are ensuring they feel seen, supported, and truly connected to their community.
